GENERAL SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
All submissions to Global Missiology should at least generally conform to the APA 2000 style. More specific information is on a GME manuscript template available here.
Manuscripts should be 3,500-4,000 words (including references, any endnotes, and tables).
For in-text citations, any page numbers are preceded by a comma. Endnotes should be completely avoided or kept to an absolute minimum (no footnotes).
An abstract of 80-100 words should be included at the beginning of the submission, along with a “Key Words” list of 4-5 terms (listed in alphabetical order).
All submissions should be in digital form (preferably in Microsoft Word) and include the author’s(s’) full and real name(s), organizational affiliation(s), and electronic contact information.
A suitable, current digital photo of the author should be included as well.
Manuscripts, including reference and citation formatting, are expected to be in publishable form when submitted, especially since Global Missiology has limited copy-editing capacities. Non-native English speakers should have at least one native speaker proof-read the manuscript prior to submission.
Notification of decision about acceptance will be given to contributors within one month after submission, along with a projected date of publication.
It is understood that manuscripts submitted to Global Missiology have not been previously published and are not under consideration for publication elsewhere. Reprint from previous publication is possible when copyright permission is secured.
It is the responsibility of the author(s) of a manuscript submitted to Global Missiology to indicate to the Editor the existence of any work already published (or under consideration for publication elsewhere) by the author(s) that is similar in content to that of the manuscript.
Submissions accepted and published will be copyrighted by Global Missiology.
After consultation with the author, the Editor of Global Missiology reserves the right to make editorial changes in any manuscript accepted for publication for the purpose of clarity, appropriate length or acceptable style.
