Abstract

It was summer of 1992 and the phone was ringing. I answered it and could hardly believe what I was hearing. It was a missionary who had just been in the countryside of Mongolia for a year. She got our number through our professor and friend Betty Sue Brewster, and wanted to know whether we were working with Mongolians in LA area. Betty Sue knew of our interest in Mongolia and had been praying for us to get visas.
