Abstract

Global Missiology is a ministry without any sponsor or financial supporter; except a team of like-minded volunteers and generous authors who contribute without remuneration. Appreciations are due to them for their Kingdom investment. We thank Ric Beemer for his years of faithful service as the web master of Global Missiology and he is being succeeded by Samuel Wong in this October issue of transition. These two and many other volunteers supporting Global Missiology are faithful servants behind the scene and we pray that God would grant them grace and heavenly reward. More out-of-print books have been donated by Drs. Ted Yamamori, Paul Hiebert and David Hesselgrave. However, they are not ready to be posted at the “resource center” yet due to the lack of man power and the Editor’s sabbatical leave currently at OMSC as “scholar in residence” in New Haven, CT. Key articles are posted on the theme of “Missions in the 21st Century” and worth mentioning are the pieces dealing with “Diaspora Missiology” in “Research Methodology” section, including the launching of the Institute of Diaspora Studies at Western Seminary and the November Consultation to be held in Edmonton, Canada.
